MidLans 2012 - Irish Gaming Festival

This summer, the MidLans crew is back with a PC and Console gaming festival.
Online gaming is great, but meeting up with your mates and playing at an event is a different kind of experience; Facing your challengers in person and having an audience watching the matches adds a whole new dimension to gaming, and that is what LAN is all about!!!
A LAN party is multiplayer gaming at its finest, a social gathering with a competitive edge for those whos focus is on tournaments. And those who would like to have a few games for fun and simply come along to enjoy the friendly atmosphere of like-minded. Whilst there are prizes to be won, players of all levels enter tournaments.
After all everyone's there for the craic and a weekend away from the every day grind.
There will be a variety of tournaments in; FPS & Strategy (1 on 1 and Team's), Racing, Sports and Fighting games held at the upcoming event, attracting a range of players from the casual to professional. Call of Duty, Counter Strike, Starcraft, Street Fighter and many more will be amongst the games played.
The MidLans team has been running LAN events for over 8 years now, and we are glad to announce that we are able to offer the opportunity for everybody in the gaming scene to get involved and help build the community even more!
